Observing Sandhill Cranes

Grus canadensis

Join Tom Wood, of the SE Arizona Bird Observatory, on a tour of an ephemeral lake full of over-wintering cranes. You'll see large flocks of Sandhill Cranes and hear their unique calls as well as learn interesting detail about how they've coped with human disturbances that have disrupted behavior patterns the species followed for eons. Be sure to click on the link to the eNature field guide entry to learn more about cranes and other creatures.
